Welcome to the Scot Council Website!

The College of Wooster’s Scot Council (SC) exists to serve as the collective voice of the student body to the faculty, staff, administration, and the Board of Trustees. It is the unwavering purpose of Scot Council to ensure and protect the welfare, well-being, and best interests of all students of The College of Wooster. Scot Council is the result of a merger between the College of Wooster’s two previous governing bodies, Student Government Association and Campus Council. This merger took place Spring 2020 in order to create a more effective and accountable system of government.

Scot Council is made up of 4 elected class representatives for each class year; 12 total, 4 constituency representatives, and 5 executive board members. Our mission is to serve as the collective voice of the student body to the faculty, staff, administration, and trustees.

Our meetings are open to the campus community and are held on Mondays at 7 pm in Lowry 202.
