Why did you run for Scot Council?
I am passionate about leadership and supporting my fellow classmates, peers, and students! I also want to ensure that ALL voices on campus are both heard and listened to and that students feel like they have a platform to express their opinions, concerns, and beliefs. Furthermore, I want to make a change on the Wooster campus that can and will benefit students from all aspects of campus life.
Favorite thing about Wooster?
My favorite thing about Wooster is the homelike community. I felt immediately accepted when I visited during the Spring of my senior year in high school, and that feeling has not changed.
Fun Fact! Over the course of quarantine, I discovered a hidden passion for painting! I taught myself how to draw and paint images that I am very proud of. It’s crazy what free time can do for a person!

Why did you run for Scot Council?
Before joining FYGC, I had no idea that there was a council that represents students in the college. Students need to realize that they have a say in what is happening in the college. I have seen students discussing matters that concerned them, but they did not know what to do about it or where to voice their opinions out. I want to be able to bring those voices to the council as well as help students see that Scot Council represents ALL of them.
